The COP Security GSM Communicator provides a total remote monitoring solution. The unit can be connected to CCTV or Intruder Alarm systems to provide:
•
Text message alerts when one of the eight inputs are
triggered
•
A primary or secondary wireless signalling path via
GSM for intruder alarm systems
•
Audio monitoring and announcements using a telephone
•
8 separate inputs
•
2 text messages per input
•
Send text messages to up to 4 key holders
•
Preset text messages for CCTV & intruder alarm systems
•
No extra receiving equipment or software is required
•
2 relay outputs that can be remotely operated by text message (password protected)
•
Engineer customisable text messages
The GSM Communicator will transmit a text message to up to 4 key holders informing them of an alert triggered by a connected device, e.g. an alarm system or DVR.
After receiving the text message the end-user can then control the 2 inbuilt relays via a password protected text command. This will allow remote activation of any connected equipment.
Connect the GSM Communicator to a Digital Video Recorder to receive a text message reporting any problems with the system.
The unit can be connected to an intruder alarm system to send alerts to a key holder via text messaging.
Remotely activate either of the two relays by sending a password protected text message. This can be used to control a range of connected equipment.

The GSM Communicator provides a cost effective signalling path to an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) . The unit uses industry standard protocols and transmits via Fast Format. This makes it ideal as a “stand-alone” communicator for sites with no telephone line or as a backup in the event of line failure.
•
Uses standard Fast Format protocol
•
Can send a fast format message to an ARC at the same time as a text message to a keyholder
•
Can be used as a backup signalling device
•
100% compatible with current intruder alarm equipment
•
Can be used in conujnction with grade 3 complient systems

When an alarm is triggered the unit can be programmed to transmit via Fast Format to an ARC
The GSM Communicator can be used as a primary or secondary signalling path to an ARC.
After the ARC has been notified of an alarm activation a text can then be sent to up to 4 key holders.

The GSM Communicator incorporates an audio channel to allow an end user to listen in and talk to the site from a mobile phone anywhere in the world. The unit supports up to 4 microphones connected in parallel. For security reasons the unit will only allow access to this function after a text alert. When a text message is received displaying an alert the end user can phone the unit to activate the microphones on site. If any suspicious noises are heard it is then possible to make a announcement over a connected Broadcast Unit. Simply press a key on your mobile phone to use this function when listening to events at the site.

Microphone in PIR case to allow remote listening to events at the site on alarm activation.
